Our mission is to provide a preferential option for the poor in health care. By establishing long-term relationships with sister organizations based in settings of poverty, we strive to achieve two overarching goals: To bring the benefits of modern medical science to those most in need of them and to serve as an antidote to despair.
Our Programs
Our programs and approach support community needs through our network of supported public health facilities, PIH Lesotho programs reach approximately 120 000 people in rural hard to reach areas, we serve the entire population of Lesotho through different programs and receive and treat MDR TB patients from the whole country.
